Everyone is entitled to their opinion is different from everyone is entitled to MY opinion.

Here's the thing. Since moving to the house I've become incredibly lazy. You see, in my old apartment the office/computer room was right next to my bedroom and about 10 feet from my living room. Now that I've moved it's upstairs and my bedroom/living are both downstairs. That means in order to launch an episode of anything I have to schlep up a flight of stairs.
That's an almost negligible amount of effort, you say? Well... you're not wrong. However, that minimal amount of effort has been enough resistance for me to avoid releasing shows.
Well, from now on I am going to try and force myself to do this more regularly.

What does that mean?

This week we continue our reading of J.J. Abram's unproduced Superman script, and as is often the case with sequels... shit just gets wackier. It's.... It's just....

Jesus.

Many years back, before taking on Star Trek and Star Wars, before doing the whole "Lost" thing, even before Alias, JJ Abrams was just a young screenwriter who was given a shot at a Superman script. The results are... well... baffling, to put it mildly.



Join us this week as we begin our odyssey into the dark, confusing heart of Mr. Abrams's Superman.

There are some movies that you can use as a barometer to tell if someone is on the same page as you when it comes to overall film fandom.  These films are, very rarely, the hits and the award winners. More often than not they are the ones that landed somewhere on the fringes, unjustly so in most cases. But as life, as a general rule, is unfair these things occur.


However, occasionally one of these movies will remove itself from the margins and claim its rightful place in the canon, nay... the PANTHEON of classic cinema. No film has done so more completely than John Carpenter's 1985 MASTERPIECE Big Trouble in Little China.



A legendary director and his most legendary collaborator team up to give you one of the greatest cinematic experiences of your lifetime and... we have some beers and ramble on in mutual adoration of it.
